3 most popular roms from the views of a newbie

hey I've been browsing the site for a week and Ive concluded that there are 3 roms that people

like the most. Or recommand the most.

Im still a newbie so please dont be too harsh.

Most stable but less performance Froyo - Pauls Madaco R12

Most performance but less stable - CM7 RC4

Stable and Performance (somewhere in the middle of above 2 roms) - Swdesh spring rls4

Am I far from the reality or in the right rirection ?

If you had just looked the answer is REALLY SIMPLE

(not being harsh it's a mistake most of us including me have made - but not looking before posting does get some people annoyed and frustrated the same as not trying the search button - both of which I as well as others have been guilty of when I started on here first)

Click on the ZTE Blade ROMs & ROM customisation Section

Then in the top section of posts look for the one that says " [POLL] What ROM are you using?, Reset 3rd April"

This usually gets reset each week so it's always up to date

yes generally i'd agree with your 3 choices 'DannyDanny', so yes you are in the right direction... i defo reccomend paul's r12 as a starting pont for unconfident newbies.

tho as above... roms are down to personal preference, for example many people prefer FLB or jap jelly for stable/performance froyo roms.

just try some out (including cm7) and see which one suits you. if you don't like it just reflash your old rom from a nandroid.

I have been on these Modaco forums for 4 months now including using "search" many times and I was not aware of this topic before now.

Have now voted and also made a comment that perhaps the forum should be headed "Whose? rom.............." as opposed to "What rom" because without going into the individual forums/topics, it is difficult to make a choice of which version to use. I voted for flb but his latest version r11 did not work for me so I am back to flb10b.

Despite that, it is an excellent list and very useful. Thanks for pointing it out.
