Guest D4LE Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 some kind of attachment on the phone or on the camera so i can wear it around my neck. like you can do with the t68. possible?
Guest Ras Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 ...and that would be a good thing why exactly? I have had 2 carry pouches sewn into the sides of my pants...I think i will call them "pockets", they seem to do the trick! Sorry to be a sarcastic git, but carrying the SPV around your neck??? No no no no no!!! Pete
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Apparently thats the "in" way to carry your mobile over in the far east...
Guest pisquee Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Yup, was in singapore a few weeks ago (job means i do a lot of travelling!) passed a market stall dedicated to selling lanyards with phone manu's nakes on them. I would hate to wear my phone around my neck. Necks are for hanging AAA passes and sharpies around!
Guest Maverick Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Been to Singapore?? I wouldnt come within 1 mile near u... What with all the scare about SARS !
Guest Cymruan Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Sorry I dont care what fashion dicates I'm not wearing my phone around my neck, I just think it would get in the way and frankly look stupid
Guest Vector Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 How about strapped to your wrist, hehe
Guest Palindrome Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 What about some sort of cybernetic implant. Obviously I'm not saying we should gouge a hole in the side of our heads to slot in the SPV, more like a tiny version with synaptic direct brain controls. If you wanted to answer a call, or write a text message all you would have to do is think it. Same goes for conversations (tho you'd have to watch what you think) and the audio output could be directly to the auditary parts of the brain and the display to the visual parts of the brain. Sure, a bit fanciful, but in the future you never know.
Guest midnight Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 i think the mobile phone culture over there is huge and they are proud of the mobile phones they own, and like to show them off constantly, personlly i think they are as daft as the people who put their mobile phones on the bar while having a pint,
Guest Syvwlch Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 How about the ones who put their carkeys on the bar? Kinda like putting your manhood there, except you can BUY size, hehe. Notice I'm too coward to mention this in the Car thread...
Guest pisquee Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I was in singapore long enough ago for it not to have been a problem, but so glad i did come back when i did!
