2 minor problems with phone.

Hi,

I am using the stock orange 2.1 and the phone is rooted with most of the orange stuff removed, and using linktosd. I had to reformat the sd so deleted everything on the card. Since doing that I can set a homescreen picture!! I choose the picture but then the screen is just black. The picture briefly appears but then disappears!! Any idea on how to sort it. Also when I first had the phone I had a large goggle search icon at the top I would like to get it back would it be one of the applications I removed?

Any one knows how to get it back.

i don't know about the wallpaper, but as far as the google search thing goes, search for 'voice search' at the market, then add it as a widget.

you'll then be able to talk to google, as well as type. :D

It is possible that you deleted something

In which case it would probably be quicker and easier to install a custom rom

Have you tried adding a stock wallpaper? One from the gallery?

assuming you haven't deleted google search, then you can add the google search icon by long-press on the desktop -> add widget -> scroll down and select Google Search

If google search doesn't appear on the widget list, then you should be able to download from the marketplace......
