Stock Gallery and Music apps

Ok I got some issues with both apps and I'd like some help.

Gallery is updating it's database in a mysterious manner. When I download some pictures in my sd card using Dropbox for example, the pictures won't appear. If I open one of them it doesn't get added to my Gallery. If I keep on opening some of them (software doesn't matter, be it Filer or ES file explorer) the Gallery will add them eventually, but this is annoying. Any workaround?

As for the music player, the issue is almost the same. If I delete some music from my card, it will stay there on the Music app.

The rom I'm running is Swedish Spring rls 4 if it matters.

Delete the cache files manually helped me: (though doing it in menu>settings>applications>manage applications probably works just as well :D)

SOMEWHERE:

I think its

sdcard/android/data/com.coolrismedia/thumbnails (SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES [browse for yourself B)])

Oh and my issue was the images in the music player.

After I deleted the cache files from the coolris media data cache directory place it recreated the files correctly..

But why is music using the coolris thumbnails? :D
