Hi im the cm maintainer for the Advent Vega and i can get recovery built for the transformer (root and ability to boot reacover permitting).

I'm more than happy to help out when I get my tablet.

Just a quick question on this... Do you have any links to sites that have good information on setting up ROM development?

I've got a linux box with Eclipse on that I've been testing App development on, but I can't seem to find any good information on how to set up an environment for custom ROM creation.

Any pointers in the right direction?
