Guest brightroar Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 How exactly does one go about installing a custom theme? Did try a search but didn't get very far with it. Instructions/advice/link to correct page and a chorus of READ THIS, NUMBSKULL much appreciated. While I'm at it, is it worth increasing the system partition to 286mb? I'm a little hesitant.

Quoting a good reply from Qwertzycoatl I found yesterday when I was asking the same question...... ---- This assumes you have ClockworkMod installed Step by step - copy the theme to the root of your sd Card - boot phone with the Volume - held down - enter ClockworkMod - "Install zip from sdcard" - "Choose zip from sdcard" - Select your zip file and continue Reboot through ClockworkMod Enjoy your theme smile.gif Hope that helps ---- If you haven't got ClockworkMod yet, follow Step 1 in this guide to download and install it.... http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...zte-blade-gen1/

Guest TheManicGibbon Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 but wont i need then to install everything (apps)from scratch....? As long as you don't perform a wipe, no. Also, you may find there is a "stock theme" that you can flash, for example, Frankish has Stock themes hosted with his theme files to allow you to revert, and I provide Revert themes for my themes, that just take you back to the stock theme for your particular ROM
