Guest dopamine1 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 First post. Vega arrived today. I flashed to latest stock rom and installed MCR as soon as it arrived, and before I used it properly. However as soon as I started setting up my gmail etc, I noticed the display isn't level in the bezel - only a few pixels off but there are more blank pixels at the top of the left side of the screen than there are on the right - only a tiny amount but enough to detect visually and enough to be annoying. In portrait mode a slight slope on text is more apparent. Is this a common fault? I'm gutted as I'll have to wipe the vega before I send it back and knowing DSG they'll take ages to send a replacement.

BTW you don't need to wipe the Vega if you ever had to send it back to DSG they support the hardware not the software.

I did run the calibration app, but I don't think it's a calibration issue. The lit pixel boundary on the screen is slanting downwards. I remember having CRT monitors that you could adjust the screen level on, but don't think you can do this on LED, can you? (never had this problem before).
