Guest admanirv Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) Guys, I dont know if its the phone or software at fault but basically i cannot receive calls sometimes, even though i have a signal. Its the same for mine and my mates blade both running CM7. We are both running RC4, i have an OLED he has a TFT model. I have a new Simcard and checked call settings/forwardinhttp://www.modaco.com/style_images/blue/folder_editor_images/rte-link-button.pngg etc and blacklist with no avail, both our phones are unlocked from orange. I bet other may have this issue and not realise, as i can still get a voicemail text. Any ideas/anyone else getting this? Edited April 6, 2011 by admanirv

Guest Jekle Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) All i can say is, this is in wrong sub-forum. Does it actually matter? he's only asking a simple question no need say anything if you've got nothing good to say at all. Have you tried a Stock ROM? It could well be the RIL not liking your provider OR the APN's are not there or not present for your provider (What network are you on?) Not gunna be your APN Settings, there related to internet and MMS Settings Edited April 6, 2011 by Jekle
Guest admanirv Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 Quu, thanks but not very helpful probably best to post F all in the future. Jekle, thanks for the reply. I'm on O2, but my mate is on orange (edit he's not unlocked) also im sure i had it on fibblesans froyo rom too.
Guest admanirv Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Guys i have tracked this down to data and calls, when on the internet browser or not signed into google e.g greens bars the phone fails to ring. When the data is switched off the phone rings everytime, it seems to be with 2G as i dont have 3G in my area. Phone and been reformatted etc, blacklisting checked etc etc with no avail. This happens with my mates phone too and i think its a potentially nasty bug, as you can miss out on calls.
Guest Shadow_2k Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) I think that is network related and typical for many (or all) networks with only 2G available. I remember someone having exactly the same issue with an iPhone. discussions.apple.com/ Edit: Link added Edited April 8, 2011 by Shadow_2k
