RemoteCall?

Has anyone noticed the app "RemoteCall" on your LGOS? I'm not sure since when it's there. I'm still on stock ROM, rootet and CWM installed.

The app is obviously meant for some support purposes, i.e. you can initiate a call to LG and then they can control your phone.

What I find strange is that I'm quite sure it wasn't there from the beginning, plus, which is really funny IMHO, even though it's an LG support tool, it asked for SU rights upon first start. :D

Does anyone know where this is coming from?

This is LG Application.

It will be used in future for customer assistance in case there are any issues with your device.

Yes, but that doesn't answer the question where this app is coming from (because I'm sure it wasn't there from the beginning), and why it asks for SU permissions (i.e. runs on rooted devices only) if it's an official LG app. :D

They probably ask for root because they want to check if it's rooted. B)

Oh, and yes, it has been there all along. At least on my 10a 23/2/11 and nvflashed 10b 15/3/11.
