Super noob guide to modaco rom

Hello there !

First, sorry for my newb questions but I got my 2X and it's my first android device! So any stupid question I may ask is not intended to annoy anyone :D

I'd like to install your modaco rom :

I read on official topic that I have to :

Install clockwork recovery : http://android.modaco.com/content/lg-optim...-lg-optimus-2x/

Reboot in recovery

Make a nandroid backup

Wipe data (how ?)

Then install the ROM (ex http://android.modaco.com/content/lg-optim...nilla-edition/)

Am I correct on procedure ?

I see multiple rom versions, vanilla gilgamesh, normal, self made kitchen. ^^. What vanilla/gilgamesh stands for ?

process looks correct :D the wiping is done via the clockwork mod recovery. in there is a menu to wipe/factory reset phone. use that menu and it'll wipe the phone.

I think you will need root first, and for that you will need super one click. (I would appreciate confirmation though!)
