Facebook Contacts

I am having a problem trying to add Facebook as one of the accounts that sync, anyone had this problem? It works fine on my San Francisco but not on the Vega. I am running the latest Modaco Rom. I can see the account when I click on the option to Add Account but when I slect it nothing happens and I am taken back to the previous screen. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
