Guest Casterina Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Basically, i put my apps2sd yesterday and enabled SWAP and its kinda running faster but not as fast as i want it to go :/ - this is the video of AntonioPT's Cyanogenmod 6 (android 2.2) Plus running very very stable and very fast... what do i do to get my Device running as fast as this.. do i have to change the SETCPU settings because if i overclock it, that means that my battery will die very quickk

B) The higher you set your CPU, the faster everything happens, including your battery draining faster. Some people like me can't even operate our phones at the full 691/710 mhz or it crashes. I have to keep it in the low 600's or it becomes unstable. But I usually just accept some slowness and set cpu to 576 to save battery. YMMV. Otherwise, keep everything turned off unless you really need it (i.e. wifi off, BT off, lower screen brightness, etc.), your battery will last longer. And to tell the truth, the best way to have a much faster phone is to buy a much faster phone! :D
