Guest pimper Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Hi! I bought a new shiny ZTE Blade today and when i'm trying to connect it to the PC I get the error message "uknown device". I've read almost all threads here about drivers and tried 4-5 different drivers including the officialls from ZTE. No matter how I do, I just can't install the drivers due to the fact its an "uknown device". I'm on Windows 7 32bit. Can anyone help me?
Guest darren_ Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 I started to get this error a few months after getting my Blade. Tried re-installing the drivers to no avail. Turns out it was a faulty USB lead. Do you have another lead you could try ? Does your phone acknowledge the connection to PC / take charge when it is connected ?

I've had the same problem with my other ZTE Blade, so i've tried with 2 devices. I tried another USB lead now and still doesnt work. :D The phone is charging but I don't get an option if I should mount SD card or not. you read this? Yes, I tried that as well. :/
