There is a tab for Android 2.2 Froyo but no downloads available.

As already pointed out in other threads, this is just how the Acer website works. EVERY android device (cellphone, tablet, ecc...) has all the the versions of android in the drop-down menu. This DOES NOT mean it is available for that particular device. It's basically just a bug of the website (or rather, a design flaw).
