Guest hammondy Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 I'm trying to copy universal Androot to my Orange SanFrancisco phone's memory card, however I can't the phone to install and be accessed by windowsl. I've 32 bit Windows 7 but it just keeps saying ZTE HUSB Device not found. Where should I download them from ? (I tried from here http://itbod.wordpress.com/2010/12/20/oran...1-to-2-2-froyo/ to no avail !) :D I've also a WinXp laptop if this can be done more easily on that.
Guest Michealtbh Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Are you switching USB storage on from the notification bar? The drivers can be found here if you need them
Guest hammondy Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Are you switching USB storage on from the notification bar? Is that on the phone ? I've found USB settings Ask me, Auto mount or manual mount. I've set this to Auto Mount.
Guest hugobosslives Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 you don't need any drivers for just putting something onto ur sdcard. in windows (any version from xp onwards) you just plug the phone in (via usb) and then ignore all the stuff that comes up about drivers and it not regconising the device. then on ur phone [set it to 'ask me' beforehand] a message will pop up. click mount. then in 'my computer' on your pc, a new option will appear next to your cd drives and hard drives. it will be something like "removable storage E'. THIS IS YOUR SDCARD. just drag and drop, or copy and paste your files from your computer to here. when your done, just unplug your phone. and the files will be on your sdcard. any questions...... :D
Guest hammondy Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Well I managed to install it on my laptop but I still can't see the device as a removable memory card !
