Screen doesn't loght on when receives a message

Hello everyone, I just made a custom rom with the online kitchen, and I included Google SMS and Lockscreen instead of LG's, but now when I receive a message, the screen doesn't light up and I have to use SMS Popup to make it light on... how can I solve this problem? SMS Popup is quite odd when I'm doing something else on my phone...
