Playing music through bluetooth headset

I wanted to know how to play music through my bluetooth headset, i have tried everything including different players and playing around with the options, help! I have it fully functioning with the phone to make calls just can't get music to play through it. a search on the forum showed there was a previous post but it was unresolved.

Try: Settings > Wireless and networks > Bluetooth > "Long press your headset" > Options

And see if there are any tick boxes for music / media playback

Also note that some headphones just wont play music through them. I have a Jabra 3010 and that works like a dream. My mate has a Samsung headset (mono) and that won't play music through it on my blade or his t-mobile pulse, but will on a Friends samsung phone running samsungs own OS.
