Guest deadmeat30 Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Whenever my Vega is plugged in too charge with the screen on, it charges fine. Then when I press the power button to place it into sleep mode, it seems to stop charging. So when I come to use the Vega later on its lower than before I started. I'm running 1.09 and r8. Is there a way to solve this or is my tablet in need of returning? Thanks.

If so it is charging fine but when you turn it back on the battery level indicator will NOT show it has charged immediately so give it a couple of minutes and correct charge level will appear. This is a known bug in the system right now but AFAIK there is no fix for this so far. :)

Charges fine when the unit is on. or when the unit is powered off, but not in sleep mode. Would reflashing it help?

Hmmm very strange I think reflashing might help but before you do I'd suggest you read this topic as Lenny provides some useful tips in it. Make sure you read the whole thing though. :)
Guest jevdroid Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 At the risk of telling you something you already know... it takes a while after the vega comes out of sleep before the power indication is updated. When I put my machine to sleep, the LED blinks until it's fully loaded, when I than wake it up, it shows a number that is significantly lower than it showed at the time I put it to sleep. After 20 seconds or so, the indicator moves from whatever it was showing to 100%.
