[PROBLEM] Impossible to flash recovery 1.1.2

Hi all,

All is in the title, i can't flash the recovery 1.1.2. and 2.0, I have this message :

error cannot load 'recoo.img'

On Windows 7 and XP, i have the problem. Now i have this message :

Try flashing

< waiting for device >

sending 'recovery' (5092 KB)... OKAY

writing 'recovery'... FAILED (remote: flash write failure)

Do you have any idea?

Hi. You have the problem in pc, this message on cmd of windows or in the screen of liquid metal?? Check if on the file had you download there is recoo.img. flashing it I had no problem

have you selected "Run As Administrator" ?

or try to redownload file, you may got corrupted file

Yes the message is in the CMD window. In the file i have :

AdbWinApi.dll

adb-windows

AdbWinUsbApi.dll

fastboot-windows

install_recovery

recoo

I have this problem just for this recovery, i tested latest recovery 1.0.1 on the bin 1.100 it works =(

or try to redownload file, you may got corrupted file

I tested "Run as Administrator" but it doen't work too. And i redownload the file 4 times.

cd C://sdk/tools

adb shell mount /system

adb shell mount /sdcard

adb shell cp /sdcard/recoo.img /system/recoo.img

adb shell umount /system

adb shell flash_image recovery /sdcard/recoo.img

be attenction. onnet the phone but not use usb data transfer

Plug Metal at PC whit debug mode active and type this

adb reboot bootloader

wait that phone reboot in bootloader mode

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash recovery recoo.img

fastboot -i 0x0502 reboot

Sorry I'm not sure adb reboot bootloader work..

So skip first step, power off phon..

Press vol + and power button until phone goes on in bootloader mode, then flash recoo.img whit fastboot..

You must unzip recoo.img in the same folder you use fastboot

O yes, I thouk that it is only for boot.img

It means that you haven't got root..... in fact cmd write permission denied.

write:

adb shell

su

if show # it is root if it show $ no root

I don' t know if it will help you but every flash generated an "apanic.txt" file on my SD card???

I don't think so, the olders recoo.img worked fine.

also i if install old recovery 1.x have that issue not with 2.x

His problem is fixed, it was due to the size of the recovery. Works well for him with 2.2.

Plz stop reply on all topic about that, we (all) (already) know about you cache issue.

vache，now i'm on a 2.3.4 rom,but i cannot flash recoo.img(4852kb), it also shows ‘remote:flash write failure’ always. Could you please make another recoo,img with smaller size? No recovery , no root.
