Troubles enabling Wi-Fi after Jellyfish RLS9

Oh hai, I'm new to this forum. =)

I've used to search function after registering, but haven't found any hits about issues like mine.

Earlier today, I have installed the Japanese Jellyfish RLS9-ROM on my ZTE San Francisco, and while on the original OS I had no issues at all connecting to my local Wi-Fi network, I now have.

I just can't connect to the network, because the "connect"-button in the screen where I have to introduce my password is grey. My password consists of six digits, and I just noticed the connect-button turns white when I add two more digits, meaning I need an 8 digit password to be able to connect to a wireless network? That wasn't the case before I installed the ROM, so I wonder wether it's possible to change that? :/

Hmm, I thought that 8 character password is standard for wifi...

In any case, yes, you need 8 character password to be able to connect

EDIT: 8 character password is standard fo WPA/WPA2 protection, so it's smart to use it it's avaliable to you. Seems 2.2 requires that kind of protection.

Hmm, I've been using this network for about two years now, and it always had 6 characters...

I could even connect to it with my San Francisco yesterday, but after installing the ROM an hour ago, I can't anymore because it makes me require 8...

No way to change that? :)

Better to improve the passkey on your router.... ???

Unless he has older router, which doesn't support that protection. Doubt it though.

In any case, yeah, just change your password and the problem is solved, don't tell me that you're one of those guys who have one password for everything. :)
