cant boot into clockworkmod recovery anymore??

Hey..

well, this morning i found out that a stable version of cm7 was out so i thought i would install it today

But for some reason I cant even boot into clockwork mod recovery?? I am on 3.0.1.4, was going to upgrade to 3.0.2.4 to install cm7 but when i press power button and volume button down, it just gets stuck on green android logo.

I am on ss rls4 gen 1 phone, it used to definetly work since i installed additional add ons such as desk clock etc after I installed the ss rls4 a few weeks ago but now for some reason i cant even boot into cwm anymore?

I used the fastboot method to install cwm on my phone a few months ago since that was the only way to install it back then i think.

Usually it works fine but for some reason it is just stuck on the green android :)

any help?

Sounds a bit odd. The stock ROM has a default recovery image I believe so if you flashed this you'd likely loose Clockwork. Can't think of anyway you could have lost it without doing this unless you formatted the recovery partition (not something you could do by accident!).

I'd open up a terminal (on the phone or through ADB on a PC) and type:

su

reboot recovery

To see if it can reboot into recovery that way. Alternatively I think this is possible through the ROM manager application.

If that doesn't work I'd recommend re-flashing the recovery partition as you'd have to do that when upgrading anyway.

Dw i managed to fix it!!

downloaded rom manager again from maket and pressed 'flash cwm recovery' then a box pops up with 'ok', then pressed 'reboot recovery' and it comes up with cwm :)
