New LIQUID E (199€ #%&§)-upgraded BIN-problems !!!!!

Hello everybody !!

I recently bought E model and gave old A1 to my wife, decided to upgrade from 1.100.07 ( 2.1) to 4.002.14 ( 2.2 ) taken from ACER site and I lost data connection over gsm/umts/hsdpa, checked all previous installs/user modifications/tweaks with no solution. Data were working regularly with previous 2.1 BIN, wifi is still working regularly ( also downloaded APN ITALIANI as last try ).

During flash windows interrupted and I had to take USB out, battery out, 10 seconds, volume up + camera and then flashing restarted and went up to the end.

Maybe I have to reflash ?

Acer DT will prompt me I cannot flash once more ?

Someone could help ?

Edit 12/4 09.53 Thanks to all contributors, I had to do a FACTORY RESET ( in usual settings ) to make data working. So it was maybe doable since first flash, anyway rooted with Malez 6.1, all apps restored automatically from google. Snappier than normal A1, will test some of latest 2.3 / waiting for 3.0 porting ( if something useful ? ).

So You mean I have to reflash bin 1.100.07 first , reboot, and then reflash 4.002.14 ?

No success !!!! This time the process went smooth for the two bins .... but no data , the arrows are not there.

On 2.1 there were data signals, and it worked, so it is not an hardware problem.

My provider is W..d and 4.002.14 is not branded bin.

Need some more help, please I know there is good people from Albenga around here !!!

Nope, tried also installing specific drivers for E model, same result, data not working and device was not rooted (also previous flashing not rooted ). Wifi working. I should try downloading .bin from Acer site different from Italy ? English one, for instance?

Any helper ?

If I'm right your problem is that with froyo bins you can't get data working,right ?

Thanks Dario, I solved myself with a factory reset before any restore from google. Your msg has been very much appreciated.
