Hi,

I tried the ask a daft question thread but haven't had any responses so here goes....

1) Is there some sort of desktop dock for the blade\OSF which I could just leave permanently on my desk connected to my pc to charge it? Something like this but for the blade?

HTC Desk Dock

2) Is there anyway on modaco r12 or via an app that I can setup a profile for texts from a certain number, I get a lot of automated texts from work which I only care about when I'm oncall so I'd like to be able to make texts from that number come through silently while texts from any other number alert me in the normal way.

Thanks for any responses.

1) Don't think so - not that I've seen anyway. A generic dock with a generic microusb cable is probably your best bet.

2) I use Handcent SMS for my SMS client and this supports it. Just go install and open Handcent, open a message from the number you're interested in and hit the 'Settings' icon in the top right (I think?). You can configure it to have a different ringtone (or silent) and have a different colour of icon in the status bar appear when you get texts from that number.

Thanks - I'll have to do some more research on the desk dock then, I'm not sure whats out there as for handcent I'll give it a blast, sounds like exactly what I'm after - thanks!

edit - I couldn't get handcent to work but it did lead me to try go sms pro which has worked fine, thanks for that just got to try and find some sort of dock now which is proving to be difficult :)

Cheers,

worto.
