USB tethering on CM7 stable

Does it actually work over 3g?, i cant seem to get it to work on a windowsxp machine i just installed the xptether.ini file with no avail.

There is no native USB tether support in CM7 stable. It may be designated as "stable" but really that's just a name, it's pretty much the same as nightly 38. Like FM Radio, tethering is not in this rom atm. Try PDANet, it's good :) for now.
