Guest TheSacredSoul Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 As per title. It keeps asking me to accept it whenever I open the market app. Really weird. Any tips?
Guest LinusR Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Had the same problem some streakdroid versions ago. Now its gone. It could help to clear the cache of the market. But I m not sure that that's the fault.
Guest chrisrotolo Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 have the same problem, i just press accept, it only takes 2 seconds, it does get annoying after awhile. I'll check this out later, and let you know if I find anything.

Guest Fone_Fanatic Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 go to settings-applications-manage applications, scroll down to market, then tap foce stop, clear data, uninstall updates. After that open up market, put in your gmail and password, and it hopefully that'll fix it.
Guest chrisrotolo Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 (edited) go to settings-applications-manage applications, scroll down to market, then tap foce stop, clear data, uninstall updates. After that open up market, put in your gmail and password, and it hopefully that'll fix it. Seems to work, thanks! EDIT: Problem returned later that day, I'm not going to stress it, it only takes a second to press accept Edited April 13, 2011 by chrisrotolo

EDIT: Problem returned later that day, I'm not going to stress it, it only takes a second to press accept are you using a @gmail.com address or other? If it is a gmail one, do you have it added under accounts and sync? I've changed my gmail password and was having an issue where every time i'd unlock my streak, a popup would appear with a captcha for verifying my gmail account.. I removed my gmail account and re-added it and haven't seen it since. Also are you on stock or streakdroid?

Im on streakdroid 1.9 I use gmail, and it is under accounts and sync, it says sync is off, probably because my background data is always turned off.(battery save)market always asks me to enable background data too, but I just tried enabling it first then opening app, and still get the terms and conditions. not a huge deal, not going to lose sleep over this, better than the force close issue I had on 1.8, had to force stop and clear cache from google services/frameworks, etc. I think

For me though, some other applications also constantly have their settings not remembered, and would revert to default every so often. I am on StreadDroid 1.9.0, with the following install options: adwlauncher perfmod If I am not wrong, the thread below mentions that this is due to the DATA2EXT perfmod. This could be why Steve continues to stress that perfmod still has issues, even though this was introduced since 1.6.1. Here's the link: Streakdroid Performance Mod 1... Unfortunately, this story does not end well; the topic's last post was in Dec. 2010, without any resolution. One other thing to note, though, is that even though the DATA2EXT routine is not working on mine (I did not partition my external SD card yet), the subsequent portion of the init.d script did symbolic link my Dalvik-Cache into the /firstboot folder. This also happens to have some sqlite db's, which seemed to be similar to what Fard referred to in his post in link about how they do not update sometimes, causing settings to be lost. These are just my observations, and sorry, I don't believe I know of an answer to the issue (though I eagerly await a solution!). My only guess involves possibly re-linking Dalvik to the same external SD card ext4 partition, to move it away from interaction with the sqlite dbs in /firstboot. However, I am putting off doing this until I lay my hands on a Patriot Class 10 32GB uSD card.... Regards, carl.
