pulse mini white screen

Hi

I ordered a brand new t-mobile pulse mini, placed my t-mobile sim card and switched it on. I'm just getting a white screen and nothing else.

I've re-checked the sim/memory card and they all look ok

Do i have a faulty phone? or am i missing something?
