[SOLVED] Blade with FLB r8a stuck in boot loop

Hi everybody,

today, after turning my Blade off and taking out the battery (I'm quite sure the shutdown was finished), on the next boot the system never arrived to the homescreen, infinitely looping the boot animation. This is what I see:

1) green Android robot logo

2) NexusOne boot animation loop

...and after some seconds (usually the ones needed to complete startup):

3) back-button led starts blinking red, with the same animation on display still goin on.

I've tried taking off simcard, same effect.

I've tried taking off my current SD memory, almost same effect but no red led blinking (I think without SD card it won't be able to finish booting ever)

This is my configuration:

- FLB r8a ROM (2.2) + Gingerbread theme

- 8Gb SD memory (with 1Gb EXT2 Partition for a2sd)

- ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.8

I have no idea of what's happening, I was supposing it could be related to the SPB Shell 3D I installed yesterday (this was the first restart after installing it) and the system might be unable to start the UI properly...

Of course I'd like to fix it without wiping all, if possible, any idea?

Should i try to boot the phone with a newly formatted SD?

May clean something using Clockwork Recovery, such as wipe cache partition (what is this exactly), wipe dalvik-cache...?

Any idea to fix this without wiping all?

In the meanwhile I will make a full backup.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Try booting into cwm and flashing FLB r8a straight over your existing rom without wiping anything

Thanks!

After several tries boot got back to "work" almost by itself but.... though now that the sytems correctly boots, the UI is NOT working!!

The homescreen is completely black (unless for top bar: and apps started from notifications work properly).

So, now I need to do restore the stock UI by uninstalling or disabling the current UI app which is stuck.

I thought to use ADB but unfortunately usb debugging seems not enabled and adb server does not recognize the phone connected via USB... help please!

Is there any way to enable it or, however, to uninstall this app?
