Guest Brianrh Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 First noticed this when I tried to run Spybot and it complained that it couldn't find framedyn.dll. After Googling I found the fix: "Verify System Variables Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu that appears. If you receive the following error message, click OK: rundll32.exe - Unable To Locate Component This application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab. Click Environment Variables. Under System variables, click Path, and then click Edit. NOTE: If no Path variable is listed, click New. In the Variable name box, type Path. In the Variable value box, type the following: %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\wbem Note: If the Path already appears correct, simply change or add one letter, finish these instructions, then repeat them to change the letter back. This will overwrite the incorrect REG_SZ type with the proper REG_EXPAND_SZ. Click OK three times (each time that you have the option)." The path I replaced was: C:\Program Files\PC Connectivity Solution\;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Equisys;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared;C:\ORANT\BIN;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files\Altium Designer Winter 09\System;C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\AUTODE~1;C:\Program Files\Altium Designer Summer 09\System;C:\Program Files\Calibre2\;C:\Program Files\Windows Imaging\;D:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools Replacing this path corrected the problem with Spybot but stops Android Commander working. Anyone else had this problem and is there a fix as it is a pain to change the path details every time I need to run Android Commander? Thanks. Brian

Brian Try adding this to the end ;D:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools so it looks like this %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\wbem;D:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools I presume that you have installed the android SDK stuff on your D: drive.
