Guest Rasetsu Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Hello there. I've bought OSF from eBay not so long ago. It was custom OSF with JJRLS9 ROM. Everything was fine, but every time I've tried to watch pictures with standart Gallery the phone resets. Today I've installed CM7 stable ROM and now the phone randomly resets on everything! Especially when Live wallpapers are installed the phone turning of just instatnly. What seems to be a problem?

Guest Rasetsu Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Did you wipe before installing CM7? Have you overclocked it? Yes I've wiped it from clock work recovery 3.0.1.4. Haven't overclocked it by myself. How can I check it ?
Guest Swimmerboy Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Yes I've wiped it from clock work recovery 3.0.1.4. Haven't overclocked it by myself. How can I check it ? Settings --> Cyanogenmod Settings -->Performance -->CPU. Standard should be 245/600 (or 604). If you're not overclocking and you're wiping before flashing I don't know what the problem could be. It doesn't get hot before it reboots does it?
Guest Rasetsu Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Yeah, it's getting hot. But it was OK on 2.2. CPU 245\604
Guest Shadow_2k Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) I own 2 Orange San Francisco mobiles and one of them shows the same behaviour (vertically deferred lines on the screen, followed by immediate reboot). So far it rebooted on all ROMs (full wipe + cache + dalvik), however Swedish Spring RSL2 caused less reboots than RSL4/RSL4b and CM7. I guess some parts of my second phone are either less reliable (Here in Germany we would call it a "Montagsgerät" and I believe in the UK you would call it a "lemon") or it suffers from a bad solder/contact somewhere inside the phone. That might also explain why the less tweaked SS RSL2 crashes less than its more tweaked counterparts SS RSL4/4b or CM7. Edit: The other phone runs rock solid. Edited April 14, 2011 by Shadow_2k
Guest Rasetsu Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Oh thats a bad news. But I've installed CM7 RC1 and it works perfectly!
