Please Read - A new pinned topic??

Hey,

Before GEN 2 everything was pretty good and we didn't have that many problems but now I think we should have a pinned topic that tells users of the forum that what they can do to their phone's may brick them and put them into a irreversible mode of use, Also it could tell them some FAQ's or quick bits of important info e.g. GEN 2 Recovery Problems. It could also ask users to search before they post. I've looked through the pinned topic's and there isn't any clear info in one place.

What's your thoughts?

It does seem that going from GEN 1 to GEN 2 is a procedure with greater risk than just changing ROMs, etc. However with various threads mentioning the way to make this change, it would be difficult to ensure that everyone contemplating this change is aware of the risk.

Also with the same old problem of many threads with masses of pages, that people post questions afresh rather than wade through searches and they are directed directly to one of several methods.

It's a good idea but I don't think there is a fool proof solution.
