contact list cock up on CM7 2.3.3

hey guys. i'm running 2.3 CM7 and my contact list has auto installed from my exported contact list on the SD but its also got cotacts from my gmail account so i have double of everything.

i cant find a way to delete all contacts there is only deleting them 1 by 1

does anyone know where they store in the file system itself so maybe i could delete from there?

i have over 300 contacts so deleting one by one is not an option for me

any solutions or help would be great. thanks in advance.
