Guest bluemotion Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 Hello all. I have a oled sf currently gen2 / SwedishSpringrls4b (waiting for cm7gen2) I can connect my routers fine: -virgin superhub (netgear) -Asus wl700ge router I recently recommended the osf to a friend and he brought it over today to get cm7 on it. i flashed cm7-n39 and stable. both refused to connected via wifi It wouldn't connect to the Vsuperhub; It did the cycling scanning-disconnecting-not connected. It also would connect to the asus router, but it could not get internet access, Internal network access worked fine. Then i gave SSrls4b a go: same problem. then i thought the gen2 upgrade might fix it, flashed ssrls4b worked briefly for about 5 mins. then the problem came back. I haven't the faintest idea what i have done wrong. I remember the old wifi problems, were fixed with an updated kernel. which were merged into current releases. had a search on the forum, this problem seems to have been fixed. ( its fixed on my own osf) Any help is much appreciated
Guest bluemotion Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 Maybe a solder joint's broke? Maybe but why would internal network work? Is there some sort of network/wifi diagnostic?
Guest jamidodger1 Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 There's a app called "WiFi Analyzer" Which you could try it searches for wifi networks ect.
Guest bluemotion Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 I was being a complete pillock, problem solved, silly router had 2 sets of mac filtering.
