Guest Snipperdag Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Thanks for the replies guys. I used the instructions from orangesanfrancisco.co.uk, when you say wipe are your refferring to steps 15 onwards of these instructions? http://orangesanfrancisco.co.uk/android/ho...-install-a-rom/ 15 onwards is fine, however I didn't see an instruction to backup your existing rom. Use the 'Backup and Restore' option in clockworkmod to make a backup of your current install before you carry out the cache and data wipes. It will be a complete backup so you can always go back to it if you either lose something or just don't like the new rom you are using. You can use this feature as often as you like and it will create a different named backup, it will start to fill your SD card up quite fast though depending on how many apps you have installed at the time. Delete the backups or move them from the SD card the next time you are using the usb/pc connection. :)
