Can't flash CM7

Been trying to flash CM7 on the Blade but every time I try I get the following error

assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "blade" || getprop(ro.build.product") == "blade" || getprop(ro.build.product") == "blade"

E:Error in /sdcard/update-cm-7.0.0-Blade-signed.zip

(Status 7)

Installation aborted.

Can anyone shed some light on this? It's a Gen1 phone and I can flash Japanse Jellyfish RLS9 on it fine but not CM7.

Check your md5 (using astro) matches the file on your phones sd

It's my dad's phone and he hasn't updates CWM for a while so I'll try that...wasn't sure if that could cause problems tbh.

yer CWM must be v3 or later to install cm7 (i.e something that sez v3.0.x.x)

just flash a later clockwork and it will be fine.

search the forum for it lazy......

just install ROM manager and update CWM trough that.
