Can someone give me a gingerbread launcher that I can flash on using Rom manager?

Ok got nothing to do with that, well, maybe a little anyway I just want it so I can't delete it off. xD Like delete it off application or something. And yeah.

You want to flash it so that it doesn't appear in your task manager...?

As far as I know you can easily make a zip to flash it yourself:

Download a theme, and delete all the folders in system apart from app....and then add just your apk to the app folder. Levae the META-INF folder, so your zip should only have:

META-INF folder

system/app/yourlauncer.apk file

Then flash that in the usual way...someone correct me if I'm wrong..

There's a good one on Xda - better than the market one, I use it. Instead of flashing it, you just push the .apk file to /system/app/ this can be done either Via adb or an app, like es file explorer. Then delete your stock launcher from system/app/ reboot your phone.e for this to to take effect. Note: unless you are running android 2.3 (cm7) the phone icon will not work because it links to phone.apologize not dialer.apk
