Not sure why you feel the need to post a :) ??

If you want an explanation or don't understand something, why not just ask a question?

FYI, due to the offer of help from Zebrahead I was perservering with the chance of restoring my vega to its previous state, however as this was not as easy as first thought then I offered to go back to stock ROM to save wasting any of his time. This I have done and I am back up and running with the r8 ROM.

Here another novice that requires help on reseting vega with r8 ROM...

Switching USB mode and tablet freeze.

(Conecting headphones usb and switching...)

When booting the system was seen all along the gray screen. I have the Vega and the Tools button BlackScreenOfDeath 'Fix seems to have gone well (see ... succesfully downloaded bootloader, please wait five partition formatting .. done!), in tablet only saw a line saying nvflash ... but to reboot the Vega returned to gray out the screen.

After so many times I try the Vegafix, and here without really knowing that I was doing something important deleted... (creating partitions, formating partitions, file not found: bootloader.bin, failed executing command... my epic fail :C

Now not see gray screen, black screen now. The tablet starts always in recovery mode, so the switch normal usb socket and connects with Win7. Always black screen. But can conect with my win7.

Then we try BSODFixer also gives the same error that vegatools 3 now:

downloading bootloader

download Command failed nvError 0x120002

Command failure: bootloader download failed (bad date)

bootloader status: BCT file not found (code 21) message: flags: .....

not exactly what I boot again the Vega.

In this state I can read files from Vega? I only just want recover my character of the Defenders of Dungeon and config of Tower Defender 2.

I have many applications in app2sd and link2sd but only recorded in the SD program, SAVEGAMES remain in the memory of the tablet?

If there is any chance to acces to the files in the tablet, i can learn linux to navigate with the DOS cmd (win7) to retrieve SAVEGAMES. There are any Frontend for noobs? QtADB seems only conect in debug mode

Otherwise I have a backup CWM shortly after installing the rom r8. Could you put it? How?

Or directly firmare v1.09 and all the ceremony of the tablet as if it were new?

------

here first try with vegatools3

Hold power button until your screen goes off completely (between 6 to 10 seconds I think).

Once that's done, make sure it's unplugged and all, then, use the BSODFixer from my website (which is in my sig, or you can find the link somewhere on the forums here).

It should work, there's no reason why it shouldn't (it's designed to fix the BSOD that you're having).

You see that I can pass BSODFixer to execute in the 3rd image.

The first is an image capture, the tablet with a gray screen at startup without restore mode and disconected from the computer. And many times without successfully execute fixer vegatools3

The second image is the execute VegaFixer (SuperVegaRestore.bat)

The third screenshot is what happens to execute BSODFixer Now.

The screen is always black black. conected and disconnected from the pc. Only I see the grey screnn at running SuperVegaRestore.bat and can read 'Entering NvFlash recovery mode / Nv3p Server'. At this moment that I can do?

Yup, i read your post.

I suggested you re download it as it appears the data you have is bad.

As I said in my last post, re download, try again. It should work.

Thanks for your patience ... and sorry for my googlenglish...

Download more times BSODFixer, but every time we give the same error.

can I access the internal files in restore mode? typing in cmd command adb... if every minute that passes I think I reflash, but DunDefHeroes.dun access to retrieve my character Dungeon Defenders.

I think when I run yesterday VegaFixer (SuperVegaRestore.bat) I changing the tablet, and now BSODFixer fails. Exactly what does SuperVegaRestore.bat? you need to finish the process? I've seen "now" the one that opens VegaFixer.jar CWMbackup and supposedly this gives life to VEGA. And yesterday I did not open this program that chooses the nandroidbackup ...

To see if I can think of to recover DunDefHeroes.dun or if not possible, install the nandroidbackup I do when I install r8. Its posible to install only boot.img, recovery.img, cache.img and system.img and don't lose the actual data.img?

edit:

vegatools includes the BSODFixer, before running SuperVegaRestore.bat BSODFixer gave no error but the screen stayed VEGA with the message "Entering NvFlash recovery mode 'and nothing happens, so now I can not do anything with BSODFixer because SuperVegaRestore.bat something internal has changed ...

Just listen to the 'Clink Clink' windows to connect and disconnect the device, do not feel to run a bat

edit2: can't wait more and reset the tablet losing all my data. I need "play" with the tablet and its great oportunity for test another rom. I installed vega 1.09, visionary, cwm and Corvus5.

Conclusion: don't use the app to change usb mode, and use titanium backup every week...
