whatsapp notifications dont work??!

Hey,

Am running cm7 stable on gen1 tft blade and when someone sends me a message on whatsapp, it usually doesnt even give me a notification in the notification bar and a notification sound ( yes, my sound is turned on). I only get a notification in my notification bar when I physically open whatsapp :)

I have no task killers on my phone...anyone know how I can get it back to normal? It worked fine on ss rls4
