Guest Christo0908 Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I was looking around the internet and I came across this little article with a picture of an Orange San Francisco seemingly running an official 2.2 update, there's people on the thread saying it is unlikely, however, the evidence is there in the picture. What does everyone else make of this? For people who don't want to root there phones?
Guest Amphoras Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I emailed Orange the other day asking if there would be an official 2.2 update. They phoned me a couple of days later and the woman said they didn't have any plans for one currently. Could be that they are and just haven't told their staff, or could have been planned then they've given up with it.
Guest targetbsp Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Could you, maybe, you know, say, link the article so we'd have something to comment on? :)

Guest Matthew Ferguson Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 http://androidforums.com/orange-san-franci...-francisco.html This direct CNET link was posted a long time ago and it was decided to be untrue. As ZTE was the one touting the phone, and not Orange, it's likely they were selling it as a "ZTE Blade" which has gotten official updates in Sweden and other places. This has nothing to do with Orange. The reason the device is branded "San Francisco" is probably because it's the one they had lying around which they brought with them.
