Guest hxcftw Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I recently walked into a table with my osf in my pocket which resulted in the screen breaking D: The plastic is fine its just that the sceen itself went funny colours, showed only half the image etc and then gradually got worse until it doesnt come on anymore. I have mourned my loss now :) and I went ahead and ordered a desire hd (I feel like a traitor now). So I thought I may as well sell my osf as spares/repair on ebay but I dont want to sell it with all my data on it and this is why I was wondering if there is a way to flash it or wipe the data without being able to see anything on the screen? Also I was running cm7 and the phone worked perfectly while the screen was still showing some form of image. Thanks
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Clockwork? You can just use an sd card reader - put the stock ROM on it, then put the card in your phone. Wipe your data and and flash the stock image.

Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 (edited) I'm using clockwordk 3.0.0.6 and I will Asume all versions of clockwork are the same Boot into recovery. hit down twice hit home(wipe data/factory reset) hit down seven times Hit home (yes) There you go:P wiped data Certainly for clockword 3.0.0.6 - you may want to check with seb if you have a different version, as to whether the layout is at all different. Guest Denzo Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 There's also a TPT method, much simpler and I think ther's a TPT image of a stock rom floating around them forums...
