Guest KasioPC Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 (edited) Hi, I've flashed 3.0.2.4 clockworkmod on a newly converted Gen 2 OLED SF, and when I reboot into recovery, the screen is skewed and corrupted, and I am unable to do anything. The apps I had installed on CM7 nightly 39 have all disappeared, including market and ROM manager. So I'm sort of stuck. Can't flash clockworkmod using fastboot, or using ROM manager. HELP! Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I now the screen is skewed, but surely clockworkmod still functions, surely it cant be too hard to flash a different version of clockwork mod. And looks like you may have corrupted your SD

Diagnosis:How did you flash it, as a matter of interest? What nightly were you on?Did you have problems converting to gen2?If you used the ROM Manager - that's it... am outta here.... (the reason - ROM Manager is not gen2 aware....., even in nightly 41 - I had to nuke it out of the handset) Edited April 19, 2011 by t0mm13b

And looks like you may have corrupted your SD Attached is a picture of the corruption - none of the buttons work at all. I know the menu off by heart, but I can't get it to flash anything. Th SD is corrupted whenever I try and boot into Clockwork, but it's fine if I don't. I've got it backed up, so it's not a problem. Edited April 19, 2011 by KasioPC

Nightly 39 3. No problems converting, seemed to be fine.

Sorry, I used the conversion zip file to install it, and it was working beautifully until I tried to install clockwork 3.0.2.4

Guest unrandomsam Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Might be best to ask KK about this - a clash in the partitioning layout? - as i did not use his conversion zip ever.... :) I have always swapped recovery.img for 0.3.2.4 during the install and never had any problems. (Must have done this 30 times at least - changing layouts etc - the very first time though I used the very first unmodified (other than the device check) comviq)
Guest jamidodger1 Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Beat thing to do is re run the gen 2 conversion tool, would it not? Just need to think how to get stock recovery...

Guest jamidodger1 Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 you need to access fastboot via adb. Fingers crossed you enabled USB development :) then you can use adb.
