My screen is basically screwed! It is not registering actions correctly. At times when I want to scroll down, it will scroll up or even across. Another example is when trying to use the keyboard, it selects completely different characters as to what I am actually pressing, i.e. when selecting 'delete' it is inserting L's or P's and sometimes even the 'send' button! Sometimes it will register the correct character, but will insert it numerous times! Other times the screen just doesn't register any actions at all, basically not working.

It's driving me crazy and is pretty much deeming my phone unusable :)

Please say some others have experienced this and there's a solution...

I was using the Swedish Spring RLS2. Just put on RLS5 and it's the same thing.

Problem about returning it is i've unlocked the phone to use a GiffGaff sim, rather than Orange. Would that cause a problem?

So, would I still go through Orange to try and get a replacement?

You should have any trouble returning it :)

Did you wipe between? Can't see this being a software issue, but as a last-ditch attempt I'd do a nandroid backup, full wipe, then flash a new Rom just to see it the problem remains. If it does, take it back for a replacement.

Yeah i'm going to do this on Friday. To return it, can I just take it into an Orange shop or should I look at doing it through the website?
