Guest remlap Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Sadly frustrated at Cyanogenmod 7 final being relatively unstable I reverted back to the latest MCR. Between upgrading and downgrading I purchased a Bluetooth Mini Keyboard which works wonderfully with Cyanogemod 7. There are two applications I have found that give at-least some support under 2.2, they are: BlueInput Bluetooth Keyboard Easyconnect BlueInput works fairly well but seems sluggish and Bluetooth Keyboard Easyconnect works exactly the same as Cyanogenmod 7 when the application decides to connect which is 1 in 10 times I try. So my question is, is there a totally stable rom with native HID support or a good application? Cheers for any help.
Guest Azurren Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Errr.. Cyanogen mod? :) The last GEN 1 release had two problems.. GPS can get stuck on/off and needs a restart to solve it and any overclock (No matter how small) will cause random reboots Other than that the rom is as stable as any others. I use it day to day and never had a problem with it Were you using an old version?
Guest remlap Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) I was on GEN 1 with final that was not a nightly that came out last week. I was experiencing random reboots when charging I then tried Nightly 39 which was even more unstable. Edited April 20, 2011 by remlap

The fix for that issue is: Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Development > "Stay awake" tick You can still turn the screen off while charging.. Its a silly little workaround but it has no side effects :)

Guest remlap Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) Does Swedish Spring have it featured about to do a backup of MCR. But Azurren thanks very much for the tip may just go back to the final release of CM7 later today. Edited April 20, 2011 by remlap
Guest Azurren Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Does Swedish Spring have it featured about to do a backup of MCR. But Azurren thanks very much for the tip may just go back to the final release of CM7 later today. No problem Trouble is the little fixes and tweaks get lost under 100's of posts on the official threads :) Swedish Spring may have it as it is a froyo rom.. There's no harm in trying it if you are planning on using a froyo rom (It would only take a few minuets to wipe and re-flash with another rom However if you can get Cyanogen mod running smoothly it is defiantly the best rom
Guest remlap Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Can confirm no support on Swedish Spring does that make it less likely its on FLB? Cheers
