lost apps

I unlocked an Orange San Francisco and then added android 2.2, as per instructions on the site.I guess it counts as a ZTE Blade now. All is well, except that apps show as downloading, show as installed - and then cannot be found. I can't find Parkdroid or the Sky + app for setting recordings. So, where are they?

They should be in the apps drawer - that's where my Sky + and all my others went.

So have you actually checked both in the app drawer for these apps, and in the 'my apps' area of the marketplace. If neither is there, what does it say on the marketplace when you select these 2 apps again? (install, download, uprade)
