Guest siu99spj Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 OK, this is probably a really dumbass question, but.... I have an SPV (all lovely and nice) but I find the homescreens Orange gave somewhat boring. No problem, pop over to smartphony and download some (Weird how GCSE French is somewhat different from what they type on the site! :) ). The question is, what do I do with all these .XML and .tsk files I have cluttering my SPV folder. I've tried the search function but my ineptitude seems to leave me with help about running Doom or GNUBoy, which I can figure out quite easily!
Guest Bazz Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 XML files should be saved in IPSMApplication DataHome then you should be able to pick the required screen from Programs->Settings->Home Screen. Not sure what a .tsk file is though...
Guest Thurstan Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 .tsk is the file extension for PocketPC themes, unless I'm mistaken.
Guest yatpeak Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 Also, with a .hme files, you have to run it through all-explorer or through the start menu, and it will put the theme on your phone. Wyatt
