Reloading Apps After Installing New ROM

I finally plucked up the courage to install Swedish Spring RLS5 using the excellent guide from here. Was very nervous but it went through like a dream (well proud of myself thanks to the guide.)

Before I did it I put a bigger memory card in, then put the files for the install onto that card (and backed up onto it) and then installed.

I have installed Appbrain back onto my phone through the Market but when I sync it my old apps do not appear. Am I missing something or do I have to create another list in appbrain (on my computer) and then reselect the apps I want back on my phone.

Also, how do I make sure that, when I install apps, that they get installed on the memory card.

sorry for the late response.

1. Most probably you will find an automatically created new folder on Appbrain when you sync your current apps with Appbrain. One folder could get called "Apps on Orange San Francisco" and the second folder could get called "Apps on ZTE Blade".

Copy the apps you want to restore from the folder "Apps on Orange San Francisco" to the folder "Apps on ZTE Blade" and sync again.

2. Before you do that, make a backup of your sdcard, create a second primary partition in EXT3 format and install Darktremor Apps2SD 2.7.5.3. More info is available at the linked page.
