Why is the Xoom camera so much better?

I had a play with Xoom today. It was OK, but a bit Ipaddy!

But the camera was MUCH faster and smoother.

Do we have a bad camera, or will software update fix it?

I believe the tegra 2 is hardware capable of encoding video, so maybe the low frame rate was because the video recorder wasn't using the hardware to record. They should be able to fix this with a update.
