Gen1 to Gen2 TPT upgrade

The OP has deleted their post with instructions and they do have a point about people just wanting to be spoon fed but at the same time, there are those that want to learn but don't know what the hell to do. I remember following the guide ages ago, and since forgot. I initially looked here and the post had been removed by the OP so I googled it and found this:
