Poor Speaker phone on all ROMS???

Has anyone else found speaker phone next to useless on any ROM on the San Fran? I can hardly hear them with the speaker on full and they can hardly hear me unless I have it right next to my mouth and speak loudly?

everyone knows that the blade is very quiet. in the how do we make the music louder fibblesan kindly spent Much time compiling a zip file to increase the phones volume.

it can be flashed with clockworkmod 2.5.1.8

Actually the speaker is much much louder than the Desire I have.

The new Desire Unibody S is about the same.

However when on speaker phone the blades own sound does get picked up by the mic

Mobile phones, generally, have a poxy little "speaker". No way, no how will they ever be "Hi-Fi"... take a look at them! And then go figure.

I've noticed on all 2.2 ROMs and slightly CM7 bar SS, the speakerphone on full volume sounds far too amplified and distorted. On SS it sounds clear, try that :)
