Try this lil' beauty http://www.formatoz.com/ It's totally free you never have to pay for it and you can rip DVD's and convert them into video files. It's very cool :) Stevonator

Guest Stevonator Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 WOW Super quick reply, i'll give it a go now :) Any settings etc for the screen i should know about ?. :) Hard to say mate sorry I haven't done it for a vega before. But the screen res for the vega is 1024x600. Try and find an option close to that. If you don't know how to rip it go to ROM Device\DVD\CD\ISO on the left hand side. Then DVD to video. Then click output settings. Then click default next to video size and look at the different resolutions available there :( Trial and error I guess sorry. Unless anyone else knows different
Guest warriorscot Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Use handbrake or mediacoder. Just match the res to the vega and use mp3 audio as ac3(common) needs licences that the vega doesnt have.
Guest Vansphone Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 I know that there are lots of freeware about that do a good job, but for ripping directly from a DVD I prefer WinX DVD Ripper. It is easy and fast, but it is not free.
