Guest duartefh Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) hi guys, i recently bought a zte blade and used it for 2 days as original, customized some things and downloaded some apps. Them i upgraded it from the stock 2.1 Optimus Portugal (by the screenshots i've seen is the same as Orange i guess) to the 2.3 ROM CyanogenMod for Blade - 7.0.0 STABLE and every thing seams to work just fine except one thing, i cannot configure my Exchange account, it just says "<warning sing>Setup could not finish <br> Unable to open connection to server." therefor, i don't have a market app nor can download apps from the android market, plus when i go to the market.android and a log there, some apps (the ones i've downloaded before) are already installed. Using my phone whiteout apps is getting very boring lol :) Is there a way to put this Exchange account thing working and my newbie android life back to normal? thanks for reading and comprehension and sorry for my bad English. Have a nice day. Edited April 23, 2011 by duartefh

Place it anywhere on your SD card, go to recovery (hold power on + volume key down), install zip from (something here, cant remember what!), choose zip from SDCard(?) then go to where you put the zip file and then click ok to flash it! Hope I helped.
Guest duartefh Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 i tried "- install zip from sdcard" -> "- choose zip from sdcard" -> "- choose zip from sdcard" -> "-> gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip" -> "YES - Install gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip" and it was successful :). "Finding update package... Opening update package.. Installing update... Installing Google Apps... Installation complete! Install from sdcard complete " I tried this before but failed, showing "installation aborted". I felt i was doing something wrong :) and them i posted here where should i put zip file and etc... xD i guess file was corrupted, after re-download i had no problems :( thanks for help  i'm really glad i came here :) everything is working fine. Once again, thanks :)
